@raven_remembers: Why do we judge the SAME thing differently based on how it LOOKS? The grey pigeon and white dove are the SAME SPECIES, yet they carry different SYMBOLS: one represents a pest, the other peace. We do the same with people. A person's FACE, physical appearance, clothing, skin tone, or accent can shape how we perceive them before they even speak. This is how PREJUDICE and STEREOTYPING take root.
