Prices go down when costs go down in a healthy capitalist economy. When it’s devolved into monopolies that barely have to compete and they’re beholden to shareholders instead of consumers, costs will never go downward

airlines have been engaged in collusion for decades. they pay enormous penalties when it gets signifant attention but the practice it's self is so lucrative they consider any regulator fines as a cost of doing business. price gouging is here to stay despite the conditions.

I paid $900 to go from NYC to Atlanta 😭 for work. I’ll never be able to travel again. I used to get $250 tickets all over the US. I took so many weekend trips. Now I probably won’t do that anymore. Only holiday travel for family.

Prices will never go down for anything. They can get rid of the tariffs and end the war and all it'll do is increase corporate profits. They'll never slash prices. Greed is king in America.
