CELEBRATING A BROTHER GIDEON ADU AMPONG (PITCHES) @Pitches 🇬🇧🎖️ Some people are gifted, but what makes them truly exceptional is their heart. Pitches is not just an exceptional trumpeter; in my books, he is one of the finest Ghana and Africa have ever produced! 🎺❤️ Our journey goes way back to our university days in Winneba. I remember how he encouraged me to venture into jazz, telling me, “Bro, Charlie, the way you play the trumpet and the kind of tone you have, you should venture into jazz.” He was one of the people who deepened my love for jazz music. Beyond his talent, what I admire most is his selflessness and genuine desire to see others grow. He shares what he knows, encourages others, and never makes you feel like you don’t matter. Today, seeing him pass out as a musician in the British Army fills me with immense joy and pride. 🇬🇧🎖️ I thank God for the privilege of being part of this journey from the application process to training. Through it all, he kept me involved, shared his progress, and made me feel valued. That speaks volumes about the man he is. Anyone who knows Pitches closely knows I am not exaggerating. He is a gifted musician, a true friend, and a man with a heart of gold. Congratulations, my boss! ❤️ This is only the beginning. May God continue to elevate you, open greater doors, and take you to heights beyond your imagination. Your gift will continue to make room for you! Proud of you, Gideon Adu Ampong (Pitches). The world is yet to see what God has in store for you! 🙌🏾🎺🇬🇧 #GideonAduAmpong #Pitches #Trumpeter #BritishArmy #GreaterThingsAhead - @koby_forson
