This is unfortunately very relateable for me… Caught my father watching csa m when I was 19. When I brought it to my mom’s attention, she already knew what he was doing. Had been watching that kind of stuff since I was a baby she said. I had no idea the people who raised me were secretly monsters. 4 years of no contact later, I guess I’m lucky I only found out as an adult. But I’ll mourn who I thought they were for the rest of my life.
