40K. Frack. Our court systems are all about generating revenue. Apparently I mean I always knew it. It’s just always kind of frightening to see an example in real time. It’s all set up to clip as much money out of you as they can.

I was wrongfully arrested once and they actually asked me if I would accept a $400 fine and dismiss it after a year of no other offenses. My attorney was like, “are you joking? Absolutely not.” Lol they are so money hungry, even when you’re innocent.

Not enough context here to know what’s happening, but I’m guessing he had felony charges against him, and was suspected or accused of having violated his terms of release, probably multiple allegations , so judge had him tested for drugs and the test was negative so the judge agreed to set a lower bond. This isn’t a test to determine if he was guilty of a crime or not. Everyone jumps to conclusions based on limited information.

Normal citizens will pay to get out of jail or not to go to jail. No money in actual criminals they don’t pay so they let them go
