@holistic.haven_07: Waking up at 2:30 or 3 AM like your body has an appointment nobody told you about? You’re not alone! Sleep disturbances are common during perimenopause and menopause, and for some women, they show up long before the first hot flash. Hormonal changes can play a role, but they’re not the only possible cause. If you’re noticing changes in your sleep, energy, mood, or body composition, start paying attention to those patterns. •Track your symptoms. •Talk with your healthcare provider. •Ask which evaluations or blood tests make sense for YOUR symptoms. And here’s something important: hormone panels aren’t always necessary to diagnose menopause, especially after age 45. Your symptoms and medical history matter too! You need a doctor that will listen and be willing to help you. I’m sharing my own two-year menopause journey, including the testing I requested and what I learned along the way. #Perimenopause #MenopauseSymptoms #MenopauseSleep #WomensHealth #MenopauseJourney
