@mothershipsg: Companies identified by the Singapore government as potentially linked to the transboundary haze-causing fires will be required to engage specialists to examine their operations, corporate relationships and supply chains, said the Ministry of Law in an Oct. 23 press release. The ministry said that the government will set up a Specialist Panel comprising law, audit and investigative firms with expertise in cross-border inquiries. "Companies will be expected to cooperate fully and provide unfettered access to relevant information and their operations as may be necessary for the inquiries," it wrote. Davinder Singh Chambers has also been appointed as an advisor to help coordinate the panel's work across different jurisdictions, and the findings will be assessed by relevant government agencies and the Attorney-General's Chambers.
