His target? A BYD Seal TCU. Romain walks through the entire process — from sourcing a second-hand unit online, to dumping the firmware, and finally extracting GPS logs and GNSS geolocation data. Impressive work on its own. But what makes this truly unique is how he connected the extracted data to a real-world crash event that had been shared on Facebook earlier.
