@newemergingking: We talk so much about teaching boys the “big” lessons in life that we skip the basics. A lot of young men were never taught how to walk up, make eye contact, introduce themselves, speak clearly, and carry themselves with confidence. That sounds small… until you realize those little things follow you into interviews, relationships, business, and adulthood. Sometimes preparing a boy for life starts with teaching him how to say his own name properly.

I started taking my boys to restaurants as soon as they could talk, i wanted them to know they can give their orders to the waitress, taught them to speak up, look in the eye, say thank you and please. I wasn’t going to have boys who hid behind me and couldn’t speak up. It was always fun to be out with them they behaved and had fun. Never once had a tantrum ever! As men now they have confidence, always look people in the eyes and can handle themselves in any situation!

I'm 48. I have people comment on my handshake all the time. That's something that was so ingrained in me as a little girl. A good handshake can completely change dynamics in a room. I once had to opportunity to shake Michelle Obama's hand. No wonder she rules rooms.

Great information for our youth. Greetings are first impressions from body language and control to what we actually say! Always repeat the name of the person you are meeting. Super impactful and helps through it into the memory bank 💕 Love what you're doing for boys and girls!

Yes! We all need to remember our manners and respect. The young ones need this early in life. Thank you for helping these kids!
