This is Sushi Shiogamakou Ginza Kiwami, known for serving maguro shipped directly from Shiogama Port, Japan’s number one bluefin tuna port. The lunch buffet starts with seven pieces of seasonal nigiri, and once you finish those, the all-you-can-eat begins. There are more than 20 kinds of sushi to choose from, including uni, ikura, hotate and different cuts of tuna, with every piece prepared fresh by the sushi chefs right in front of you. I’ve actually dined here for dinner before and had a great experience, so finding out they now offer an AYCE lunch for ¥9,800 made coming back a no-brainer. Considering dinner here can cost over ¥20,000, ¥9,800 for this lunch buffet honestly feels like such a steal. The hardest part? Getting a reservation.
