@sadarish: Braeburn apples are a crisp, medium-to-large apple cultivar known for a rich, well-balanced sweet-and-tart Orangish-red vertical streaks or blush over a yellow-green background. Firm, crisp, and very juicy with a clean snap. A vibrant combination of high sweetness and sharp tartness with spicy or aromatic hints (sometimes likened to cinnamon and nutmeg). Discovered as a chance seedling in 1952 in Waiwhero, New Zealand, and named after the Braeburn Orchard where it was first grown commercially.
