@hopeundertherainbow: 🐸💜 I’m learning that moving forward doesn’t mean everything stopped hurting. Some days, I wish I could go back and change everything. The things I lost. The people I miss. The moments I wish had ended differently. Sometimes, I get so caught up in wishing life were different that I forget I’m still here, trying to find my way through it. And maybe you’ve felt that way, too. Maybe you’re grieving someone you love. Maybe life hasn’t turned out the way you hoped. Or maybe you’re simply exhausted from fighting battles nobody sees. 💜 If that’s you, I want you to know something. You don’t have to be okay with what happened. You don’t have to forget, stop crying, or pretend you’ve healed. Acceptance doesn’t mean approving of what hurt you. It means slowly learning how to care for yourself in a reality you never chose. 🌱 So how do we begin? Start with something small. Take a deep breath. Step outside for a few minutes. Notice the sunlight, the trees, or the sounds around you. Ask yourself, “What is one thing within my control today?” Maybe it’s eating a healthy meal, getting some rest, calling someone you trust, or finally asking for the support you’ve been needing. If the pain feels too heavy to carry alone, talking with a counselor or someone you trust can help. You don’t have to figure out your entire future today. ✨ And here’s something I hope you remember: A frog doesn’t cross a pond in one giant leap. Sometimes it pauses before taking the next jump. And you can, too. 🐸 Rest when you need to. Cry when you need to. Take your time. You can miss what you’ve lost and still make room for beautiful moments in your life. One little step at a time.
