@lostson350: Before anyone says, "But looking is natural..." Let's be honest for a second. There's a difference between noticing that an attractive person exists and constantly checking people out when you're standing right next to your partner. One is awareness. The other is behavior. And if a man is repeatedly scanning the room, turning his head, staring at other women, or making it obvious that his attention is wandering, that's not something I'd tell women to ignore. Here's why.👇 --- 1️⃣ IT SHOWS A LACK OF RESPECT Imagine you're out with a man and every time an attractive woman walks past, his eyes follow her. Now imagine that happening again next week. And the week after that. At some point, the issue isn't whether he finds other women attractive. The issue is that he's making you watch him do it. A man who respects you should care about how his behavior affects you. --- 2️⃣ IT TELLS YOU A LOT ABOUT HIS SELF-CONTROL One thing I've noticed is that people often reveal who they are through the small things. If someone can't control where their attention goes for a few seconds, it raises questions about how they handle temptation in other areas of life. Self-control isn't just about relationships. It's a character trait. --- 3️⃣ IT'S OFTEN DISMISSED INSTEAD OF ADDRESSED A lot of women bring it up once and immediately get told they're insecure, jealous, controlling, or overreacting. Pay attention to that. A healthy partner doesn't immediately turn the conversation around and make you feel crazy for having feelings. They listen and try to understand why something bothered you. --- 4️⃣ IT CREATES INSECURITY IN THE RELATIONSHIP I've yet to meet a woman who feels more connected to her partner after watching him openly check out other women. Most women start questioning themselves. "Am I not attractive enough?" "Am I overreacting?" "What does he see in her?" The problem is that you're now carrying emotional consequences for behavior that shouldn't have been happening in the first place. --- 5️⃣ IT OFTEN GETS WORSE WHEN THERE ARE NO CONSEQUENCES People tend to repeat behavior that they know they can get away with. If a man repeatedly behaves in ways that make you uncomfortable and nothing ever comes of it, don't be surprised if the behavior becomes more frequent over time. That's true for relationships in general. --- 6️⃣ IT SHOWS WHERE HIS ATTENTION IS GOING A relationship requires investment. Attention is part of that investment. When someone is constantly looking outward instead of appreciating what they already have, it tells you something about their mindset. A man who genuinely values his relationship should be focused on protecting it, not testing the boundaries of it. --- 7️⃣ IT FORCES YOU TO ACCEPT A STANDARD YOU DON'T ACTUALLY LIKE This is probably the biggest one. I've seen a lot of women convince themselves they're okay with something when deep down they aren't. They tell themselves all men do it. They tell themselves it's not a big deal. They tell themselves they're being too sensitive. But if something repeatedly bothers you, it's worth paying attention to that feeling instead of constantly talking yourself out of it. --- One thing I've learned is that women often ignore the small things because they're waiting for proof of something bigger. The problem is that relationships are usually built or broken by small patterns that repeat over time. That's why it's important to pay attention when someone's actions consistently make you feel disrespected, dismissed, or unimportant. --- Would a wandering eye be a dealbreaker for you, or is it something you'd be willing to overlook? 👀👇🏽

Been thru that. He was teaching his son to be respectful all while disrespecting me. I pointed it out to him as I said goodbye. I didn’t yell, scream or cry. I left & told him I deserve better. I choose me, my self respect, my values. I won’t accept less than I deserve. Neither should you
