I sell higher end antiques... It occurred to me quickly that when you present your pieces like museum pieces as opposed to merchandise on a shelf, you give a certain elevation to your stuff. I think this is why these Tiffany displays are genius; "we aren't a pawn shop so don't expect pawn shop prices. what you're buying here isn't just jewelry... It's art."
