You’ve been ok with it all you life - and now you see it differently. I hear this but you have to take into account that we were raised with such a benign, no evil night of fun. Even what we did that was edgy was all in fun - jaycees haunted house. You are being awakened and convicted by the Holy Spirit but also - things are changing and this world has become so evil that nothing is like it used to be. We never dreamed 20 years ago that someone was mistreating children. We never thought trafficking was real and the Devil was blue. lol. We know better now and our eyes are opened and after losing loved ones I can’t imagine that anyone enjoys glorifying death and gore. You are right on the money with this and 100% correct.

i’m glad you shared this !! as a young mom i get alot of criticism for not letting loftin participate in halloween… but it’s something God has convicted me of, & me & ross made the decision not to allow it in our home. it’s not always easy standing in your beliefs when people don’t understand, but God always makes it worth it !!

I don’t have kids (yet) but I don’t like Halloween either. I don’t remember ever “loving” it but I know now that I just absolutely hate it.
