Go look at her page. She’s trying to understand and has been discussing belief systems with people of other faiths and religions. I agree, you can take some spirituality from all of it, but religion has always been about control.

The Bible has been rewritten and translated multiple times in history but people still think god wrote it. The Bible is literally just a book of stories that my include real people. The pope who is the holiest of people for Catholics could write a book like the Bible with bishops and what not and say it the word of god and require it to be read and in a few hundred years people will believe it’s true.

I choose to believe the Bible because it is a reliable collection of historical documents written by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. They report supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophecies and they claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin.
