a few points for clarity. 1. Marikana. Ramaphosa was a non-executive director at longing. As non-executive director, you don't participate in the daily operations or management of a company. he was not part of the wage negotiations. The Farlam Commission found that he did communicate to government to intervene as the tensions were high and some individuals had been killed. The culprit was Riya Phiyega. She even misled the public by concealing the extent of the incident. the was a second sight of a massacre but bodies and bullet casing were removed to conceal the sight. Unfortunately, the EFF used the incident as a launchpad for the party. They even popularized the Buffalo name as Ramaphosa bought a bull for R30 million during that time. 2. Phala Phala was a sting operation to compromise the President. This was to force him out and undermine the credibility of the efforts to combat corruption. Political parties leveraged this and the media capitalized. Questions you should ask. 1. Who were the SSA operatives who notified Fraser? Why not report to their seniors as Fraser was no longer a member of the SSA? Why not report to the NPA, PP, Hawks, SARS,SARB, SAPS or, opposition parties? why Fraser, specifically?Does Fraser have security clearance to receive such information? Who authorized SSA to spy on the president?? Does the SSA have a slush fund which contains foreign currency? 2. Why Did Sylvester Ndlovu call Ramaphosa and not the police first? He was the acting manager of the farm at the time. Instead of reporting the crime to law enforcement, he chose to call his boss who was thousands of kilometers away from the scene? 3. Why did the cctv system malfunction at the time of the incident? Why was the security so relaxed, given that, there was a breaking-in of the farm next door a few days before Phala Phala? 4.why ndlovu ends up working for Fraser's niece? Ramaphosa lied as there was no sale of Buffalo (Perjury). However, he was under duress and fighting back publicly could have led to unrest greater than the KZN July unrest. As a Constitutional being, we're always reminded of his oath of office but, He has to uphold a peaceful and secure State...
