@exqzguide: Marina Abramović has turned a room in Lower Manhattan into a snow globe that visitors walk into. Snowy / Windy / Spring on the Planet Z fills a white gallery at the Balloon Museum, inside the Tin Building at 96 South Street in the Seaport, with shoulder-high inflatable grass, a winding path and snowflakes carried on air currents. The piece grows out of a planet Abramović imagined as a child, and she says inflatable sculpture at this scale is entirely new to her. It anchors DAYDREAM, Air Becomes Art, which opened August 7, 2026, as the Balloon Museum's first permanent US home, with work by Martin Creed, Alex Schweder and Boris Acket.
