It doesn’t change the fact that, they’re grifters. Meghan chose to distance herself from her father because she was embarrassed by the humiliation surrounding him. She wanted to reinvent herself and distance herself from that part of her past, but her last name still connects her to her family. What bothers me about these so-called advocates is how they seem to monetize their public image. They make visits, pose for photo ops, and promote their charitable work, yet there seems to be little acknowledgment of the trauma within their own household. If they genuinely stand for compassion and advocacy, shouldn’t they also be willing to confront the painful realities of their own family rather than simply presenting a polished public image?
