I haven’t had ferritin above 20 my whole life but because my hemoglobin is ok I don’t qualify for an iron infusion. Going to pay out of pocket to get one at the naturopathic clinic. Hoping it helps.

Had an allergic reaction to the iron infusion. Ended up in the hospital for a week and months of high prednisone now I have high blood pressure and diabetes. Destroyed my endocrine system.

I got iron poisoning ☹️now my ferritin remains ridiculously low but my ‘iron’ is normal so I can’t even take supplements to get my ferritin up

My ferritin is 13. Just had my IV infusion last week. I believe it takes a few weeks to feel the full benefit. I can’t wait to see what that feels like

I learned I’m allergic to something in it and went into anaphylactic shock at 38 weeks pregnant… I didn’t even get enough of the infusion to get any of the benefits 😭
