@pro.glitch: Why most people make $0 with AI (the two mistakes) A few years ago I launched more than one product. Months of building each. Not one customer. It wasn't because I couldn't build. I didn't know two things. Mistake 1: you never check if anyone wants it. You build from your own opinion. The fix: pick one small, painful problem for one kind of person. Talk to 10 of them before you build anything. Build the smallest version that solves just that problem. With AI that takes days, not months. Then try to sell it. The first payment is your proof. Compliments don't count. Mistake 2: nobody sees it. The internet doesn't owe you attention. The fix: a content system. Every day your product shows up where your people already are: a LinkedIn post about a real problem, a short video on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube showing it working, a thread on X with what you learned, replies to people asking about the problem you solve. AI helps you run it: turn customer questions into posts and videos, one idea into a version for every platform. Show up every day, watch what works, make more of that.
