Definitely not that simple… 😅 This is a “perfect world” theory. Realistically you’d wear a “rocket suit” that drives you to the surface in 60 seconds, which you definitely do not breathe normally…. You should scream/yell the entire way up only to keep your airway open, because a single breath of air taken at 600 feet will want to expand your lungs to 19 times its volume by the time you reach the surface.

Russia just use steel capsules and release them to float with sailors inside without needing to use any funny suits. There is food and fresh water too inside the capsules.
