Warriors. You and that teacher are warriors. Both looked death in the eye and engaged it. Didn’t run for safety, ran toward death. Outstanding job. Both of you.

This will stick with him way longer than it stays in our short attention span. His family and friends need to have the long memory with him and keep him strong. What he had to do can be difficult, even when he knows intellectually that it was the best he could do.

May God bless this man. Hearing him describe army-crawling toward gunfire just to protect those children is completely heartbreaking and profoundly inspiring. Kaylub, is the absolute definition of a hero. This is the exact piece of humanity we need to remind ourselves still exists. Sending so much love, respect, and prayers for peace and healing to him and his beautiful family.

You used everything you learned and knew for that one moment. Just hearing your methodical thought process is amazing considering the circumstances. Thank you for taking action. 💙
