@tammihaddon: Ephesians 1 declares that God raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in heavenly places, FAR ABOVE all principality, power, might, dominion, and every name that is named! ALL things have been placed under His feet! But keep reading! Ephesians 2 declares that God raised US up together with Christ and seated US together with Him in heavenly places IN CHRIST JESUS! Do you understand what that means?! We are diminishing the power of the risen Savior when we teach people who are seated IN CHRIST to live terrified of powers that have already been subjected TO CHRIST! How have we become more conscious of demons than we are of the authority of Jesus? How have we built entire belief systems around fearing an enemy while barely understanding the victory of our Savior? I’m not suggesting that spiritual warfare isn’t real. I’m saying that our theology of spiritual warfare must never contradict our theology of the finished work of Jesus Christ! We have spent so much time teaching believers what demons can do that we’ve neglected to teach them what JESUS HAS ALREADY DONE! Whom the Son sets free is FREE INDEED! (John 8:36) Read your Bible! Study the Scriptures in context! Stop allowing yourselves to be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:14). A defeated enemy should not occupy a greater place in your theology than a resurrected CHRIST! #BlackGirlTheologian #ChristOverEverything #BiblicalTruth #EverythingIsntADemon #sounddoctrine
