🚨 Toni Kroos on Real Madrid's first half performance against Sevilla: 🗣️ “I have to say, it could be a very long night for Sevilla. The pressure is intense, and Real Madrid look like a team that has no intention of slowing down. Two goals in the first half, and they still look hungry for more. But let's talk about Arda Güler's goal. What a finish! Honestly, I would struggle to find a better goal this weekend. The technique, the confidence, the execution - it was exceptional. Arda continues to make people talk every time he plays. He has the ability to produce something special, and when you combine that with a player like Jude Bellingham, you understand why Madrid can be so dangerous. I also want to give credit to Diomande for the assist. Before that moment, there were occasions when he could have released the ball earlier to his teammates. At this level, decision-making is everything. But football is about learning. He recognised the opportunity, played the pass to Arda, and the result was a beautiful goal. That assist deserves recognition. Then came Mbappé's goal. Fantastic finishing! The movement, the timing, and the composure in front of goal were exactly what you expect from a player of his quality. And look at the connection between Bellingham and Mbappé. When players with that level of intelligence understand each other's movement, defending becomes extremely difficult. Sometimes, I look at the quality Real Madrid possess and wonder how a team with so much talent can occasionally struggle against certain opponents. But that is football. Names alone don't win matches. You need concentration, discipline, the right decisions, and the determination to fight for every result. Tonight, Madrid have shown what they can do when those qualities come together. But the second half will tell us even more. Great teams don't simply enjoy a good first half; they know how to finish the job.”
