@humanebroward: Oh sweet girl ☹ Maddie has been adopted and returned again 💔 We are heartbroken to see this sweet girl back in a kennel after spending the last year enjoying life with a family. Maddie is 4 years old and has now lost two homes through no fault of her own. Her most recent family loved her very much, but her playful energy became too much for their 15-year-old dog. They made sure Maddie was safely transported all the way from Maine back to our shelter so we could find her the right home. ❤️ Maddie is a happy, affectionate girl who loves toys, cuddles, car rides and playing! She is good with other dogs but would do best with a younger, playful companion who can match her energy. She would also be happy as your only dog! She has lots of love to give and just needs a family who understands her. The last time Maddie was here, she waited over four months to be adopted. We cannot bear the thought of her waiting that long again. Thankfully, one of our wonderful volunteers recently took her out for a much-needed day of fun away from the shelter. 🥹 Maddie’s adoption fee has been generously covered by an animal lover.
