I am absolutely disgusted by the thought of a child being put through this kind of pain and trauma. I truly cannot understand how anyone could hurt a child or put them in a position where they no longer feel safe. Children are innocent, vulnerable, and depend on the adults in their lives to protect them, not be the reason they suffer. I work with children every single day who have gone through abuse, and I see firsthand how heartbreaking it is and how deeply it can affect them. It’s devastating to see children have to carry pain, fear, and trauma that no child should ever have to experience. What makes me even more upset is knowing that these children have to fight so hard to heal from things they never should have had to endure in the first place. As a mother, this hits me on a different level. Every child deserves to feel safe, loved, protected, and heard. The thought of a child being hurt by someone they should be able to trust makes me sick. Children deserve better, and I will never understand how anyone could overlook the importance of protecting their innocence and well-being. #JusticeForRidge 🤍
