@crave.lab0: Crispy Cheesy Chicken Tacos 🌮🤤 Ingredients (5–6 small tacos): For the chicken: * 300 g chicken breast * Salt, to taste * Garlic powder, to taste * Paprika, to taste * 1 tbsp vegetable oil For the filling: * 5–6 small tortillas * Red, yellow, and green bell peppers * ½ onion * 1 garlic clove, minced * 1 tbsp tomato paste * 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce * ½ tsp smoked paprika * ½ tsp sweet paprika * ¼ tsp ground cumin * ¼ tsp dried oregano * ¼ tsp black pepper * Salt, to taste * A pinch of chili powder (optional) * 2 tbsp water * Shredded mozzarella, as needed * Vegetable oil, for frying Instructions: Slice the chicken breast lengthwise into two thin pieces. Season with salt, garlic powder, and paprika. Drizzle with vegetable oil and let marinate for 15 minutes. Cook the chicken in a hot skillet on both sides until golden and fully cooked. Remove and cut into small pieces. In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion and red, yellow, and green bell peppers until softened. Add the garlic, tomato paste, sweet chili sauce, smoked paprika, sweet paprika, cumin, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Add chili powder if desired. Stir and cook briefly, then pour in 2 tablespoons of water. Add the cooked chicken and mix until everything is well combined. Sprinkle mozzarella over one half of each tortilla, add the chicken filling, and top with more cheese.
