@controlandcompound: What if the CRA ends up getting more of your retirement savings than your own family? 🇨🇦 Canadians spend decades contributing to their RRSPs, believing they're building financial security for the future. But there's a tax bill that too many people aren't planning for. When you withdraw that money, it's taxable income. And when you die, a large RRSP could trigger an enormous tax liability for your estate. Depending on your circumstances, that could mean losing more than half of those savings to taxes. The CRA shouldn't be the biggest winner in your retirement plan. The good news? There are strategies to help Canadians manage their retirement taxes, protect their wealth, and leave more behind for the people they love. #CanadianRetirement #RRSP #TaxPlanning #WealthManagement #RetirementPlanning
"Its shocking how many..."
Okay, how many? If you die at 65 and never collect your rrsp - income you never paid tax on I might add - are you suggesting no portion of that should be taxed? Inherited wealth compounds inequality, and I'm not sure we need more billionaires
