I made my villain in one last Act of resistence and resillience stand up to the main villain. to be killed instanty. it gives you no time to process what happened. built up for Seasons and killed in an instant, the villain that killed them doesnt leave their wish unanswered and tries to furfill their wish in his own way

im making a fantasy story where everything is normal until the main chatacter discovers their actually a vampire and begins to live forever at first they take advantage of this immortality to become so powerfull no weapon in existence can pierce his skin but he eventually starts to live with the consequences of immortality there is no villain the villain is his own immortality which eventually he lives so oong he becomes the strongest being in existence showing no emotion he kills gods till the oldest wisest god has a weapon that can actually can injure him so he kills that god steals the weapon and hands it to a kingdom then commits a crime worthy of the death penalty to finally die the true villain isnt some physical creature but the mistakes that lead to a almost neverending story

Another thing you can do is make it so that it turns out the villain was trying to stop something way worse, so when they die, everything they carefully tried to help comes undone.And it turns out they were just trying to make things better for everyone
