@donahuepeebles3: Helping keep families in their homes is at the heart of why I founded Sheltered Futures. Here are a few moments from a community resource fair we sponsored in Miami Beach. Sheltered Futures provides emergency rental assistance to families facing eviction, working directly with landlords to help keep people in their homes. Housing affordability is the crisis of my generation. One of the scariest situations a family can face is losing their home because an unexpected emergency left them unable to pay rent. I’m proud of the work we’ve done to help families get through those moments and stay in their homes. We also connect families with financial planning resources and job training so they can do more than stay in their homes. They can build a more stable future and thrive there.
