Thank you so much for sharing this.The interaction feels like you double the dose. I didn’t know by then and I took amlodipine in the morning and had grapefruit about 3 hours later I was restless for the rest of the day. I couldn’t do anything I drank plenty of water and had to lie down the whole day. Thank God by the next day I was fine. Even with some teas they don’t mix at all. Since that day I eat my fruits after 6 to 8 hours of taking amlodipine. I have been on amlodipine for 15 years now and am fine.

This is my Bp reading this early morning, mainwhile i have stopped taking my drug for 3 days now. i normally take 5mg Lisinopril for over 2yrs now. Plz what do u now advice? i will still check the bp again in the evening and drip the result here because I have the machine for my personal use

Hmm, this is absolutely true. It was just few minutes apart and I knew something was not okay with me but thank God for life. People need to know a lot about BP medication they consume and what to take and not to take along with it I swear. I did a research and found out it was the grapefruit juice I took that cause my issue….. Thank you for this info.
