She says her boss never responded. On Thursday, when my mom didn’t attend the meeting, her employer’s travel consultant arranged cancellation of her upcoming FOUR-NIGHT hotel reservation. This was where she needed to stay while her new home was being prepared. She booked it herself through her personal hotel app, using her PERSONAL credit card. The company wasn’t paying. My mom says there was no conversation with her about canceling and she gave ZERO permission. We have the travel consultant’s email confirming the cancellation. Her boss replied: “Thank you, very much.” Given that sequence, it feels spiteful to us.
