my hmua for my wedding told me THE NIGHT BEFORE my wedding that she wasnt going to be able to get me ready at my venue which I paid extra to have her travel to me but said I could go to her studio on the other side of town.. i had no other option do i walk in to her studio and she was finishing another girls makeup that booked her last minute that kept saying thank you for taking her so last minute I was so upset 😭

I really hope others see this so they don’t go through the same thing. I don’t get how she keeps getting away with this when it’s clearly been happening for years. I had a similar experience with this same MUA 3 years ago too.

Idk how many times I have gotten inquires for bigger wedding parties, more $ etc but I have never ever cancel on none of my Weddings or clients. and I can count the times ive canceled and because my kids got sick and was out of my control. Always refunded my clients and gave them a full free or 50% off service to make up for it.

If it was a lie, then I wonder why she truly cancelled on you. She did give you 3 weeks which is better than cancelling that same week or even day. She also did refund you the deposit money which is great.
