@everyday_faith_channel: Jesus doesn't see you for who you were He names you for who you are becoming in Him. In this unforgettable moment from The Chosen (Season 4, Episode 2), Simon confesses that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. In response, Jesus gives him an entirely new identity: "All your life you've been called Simon... But today, I call you Peter. Rock." Later that night, his wife Eden whispers a beautiful truth: "There are so many Simons in this world. I've never met anyone named Peter. One of a kind." It is so easy to live trapped under the labels this world has given you your past failures, your family background, or your insecurities. But when you surrender your life to Jesus, He wipes away the old identity and gives you a new name (Revelation 2:17). Peter was impulsive, flawed, and unstable, yet Jesus called him "Rock" long before he felt like one. God speaks to your potential and calls forth the strength He placed inside you. You aren't just another face in the crowd; in Christ, you are redeemed, transformed, and one of a kind. Has God transformed your identity since you began following Him?
