GV80 owner...85k miles. On the surface, I LOVE this car. In reality, I've had multiple issues where either the dealership and/or corporate failed badly at providing good customer service. The bottom line is Genesis is a luxury car that doesn't have the infrastructure to provide luxury service. So I can't agree with your message any more.

You know Genesis is a Hyundai brand? Also why didn’t you contact a lemon law lawyer. You took it back 3 or 4 times for the same issue and have it on paper. These dealerships are devious though, they know the issue but will pretend that cant replicate it as it is usually a design issue that cannot be fixed at the dealership and that way they can claim that they didnt find a problem. Just infuriating

DO NOT PAY ANYTHING! Call corporate and get a case manager and tell them that they gave you a lemon!!!!! Tell them you’re going to get an attorney and I promise you they will call you back with an update.

Even Mercedes and BMW have problems. My wife and I are on our fourth Genisis, however I’m about 15 thousand in repairs on my BMW, she should have lemon lawed the car

weird. I have had 2 brand new GV70, 1 G70 and 1 G80 electric. currently have the GV70 and G80 electric. zero problems with any of the 4 vehicles.

These new cars are more electrical, modules and just complicated. I think they need better technicians to deal with them .

You need to out the dealer and you need to go talk to a lawyer as soon as possible. Make sure you keep all your receipts in any type of correspondence you’ve had with the dealer and with Genesis.

Did you try a different dealer? Have them drive the car for at least 30 miles over the course of a few days. A good service department would’ve done that without you asking. Try to get this thing working before going further into debt on a Tesla — which doesn’t even guarantee a better experience.

Going through not the same exact issue but the same dynamics with Hyundai right now you got yours in January I got mine in March. I’m dealing with Corporate too thank God you got out and I’m laughing even though it’s not funny when it’s hard to replicate the problem because it just does it sporadically and of course it’s not gonna do it for them. I had to take pictures and videos too. It finally did it to them, but we should not have to go to those links to prove what we know is happening.

suggest taking video of car when it has the issue. then tell the dealership and genesis corporate they either take car back at no loss to u or you'll hire a lawyer and they can see the video in court
