Yes! I ride or die for my ulta salon girlies! I've never had a bad experience and they also do my daughter's hair and she lives in the hospital 90% of the time. Whenever she comes they take extra steps to disinfect and really make it a good fun experience for her!!

The cut is pretty for sure - but the hilites are not great, lots of splotchy spots and roots are a little hot ( warm) and definitely did not get true curtain bangs.

I have no issue with going there at all! My only point is that when you call in, you don’t necessarily know who you’re going to get, and not every stylist has the same level of experience. It sounds like you got lucky and ended up with someone really good, and I’m genuinely happy you had a great experience! I’m a hairstylist in Fort Worth, and my partial highlights start at $115. My haircuts are more than what you paid, but I also have 21 years of experience behind the chair. There’s a huge range in pricing, experience, and skill level in this industry, so sometimes finding someone great at that price really is a win! ❤️
