"This price dies when you walk out that door." That's what the Westgate closer told us, word for word. He said the timeshare discount was today only, the manager had approved it just for us, and tomorrow it would be gone. My gut said wait. I signed anyway, because the deadline felt real and I didn't want to be the guy who missed out. A few months later my brother-in-law sat through a Westgate presentation, and guess what? Same "today only" price, same speech. There was never a deadline. There was just pressure. Since then that timeshare has been a yearly bill and a reminder that I let a fake clock make a real decision for me. I called Westgate about leaving and suddenly nobody was in a hurry. My wife found Stonegate and pushed me to call. They took their time and never once said "today only." If you signed under a deadline that turned out to be fake, look at the next page. That's what got us out.
