The symptom is loneliness, the cause is still a sense of entitlement. To have friends, you have to be a friend. To be loved, you have to be lovable. And to accept love honestly from someone else, you have to love yourself first. Patriarchy cuts men off from this in childhood, but adults have self-determination. Other people don’t have to fix your problems for you, and won’t want to help if you hate them.

how are they defining incel? because if they are literally asking people if they are an adult virgin not by choice, the numbers will be way higher that asking people if they are an incel. by the first definition i count, but i would never call myself an incel because its not just a category, its a culture

When I received my autism diagnostic, one of the first this I did was try to find more friends in the spectrum, thinking this would help me connect with people I related with. I quickly realized a lot of them use their diagnostic to be patriarcal assholes. One thing is having a hard time understanding social rules, but being an entitled misogynist is not par of it. It is a spectrum, so there's people who genuinely have trouble socializing, but being an incel is so much more than having a hard time making friends.

How are we defining the term incel? Because I personally wouldn’t use that word to describe someone who wasn’t deeply sexist, but a broader definition could include any who wants to have sex and isn’t having sex.

The funniest thing is that tons of actual misogynist men like a lot of college frat boys get laid by women all the time. while someone like me, spent most of his time alone in his dorm or somewhere else, yet women are more likely to hate me.
