I have had to do some things you all would throw up working in live sewer manholes isn't for weak stomachs

Opening a ceiling the other day with blown in insulation to find a leak. Found a crack in a cast iron drain directly above the wettest section of ceiling. As I continue to expose the area I realize the moisture on top of the Sheetrock is much more extensive as the it connects to a 3” line. All the while getting soaked from all the water trapped in the ceiling and covered in the drenched insulation. I removed more sheet rock and can now see that the 3” cast line is far worse off than the 2” line and the next 5’ of insulation is saturated in the most repugnant and now very pungent sewage that I’ve had the privilege of showing over me for quite some time! There’s no way we get paid well enough for that!
