you should add two gamemodes, one where they instantly get you like you have and one where you can still go when they catch you but for the grass, the more you step on it the faster the police man goes, and for the pool, the water slows you down from moving. so basically you can have it so you either instantly lose (probably a harder mode) or an easier one where its a bit more leniant. you could also have an even easier one where you are slowed down less to have a more typical easy-medium-hard difficulty thing going on. also maybe add roadblocks in the paths that increase with the difficulty of each level. but i dont know thats a lot of work and its your game. whatever you want
