you cant disinfect dirt man. you might be killing surface stuff but chickens scratch down into that and will uncover all the diseases and parasites hidden underneath

I looked it up: kills mites, parasites, bacteria, burns organic matter, etc. Much more effective on concrete, less effective on dirt since soil can insulate and many things bury their eggs in the dirt. Nice little "final pass" when cleaning, it seems.
