@exeligmo: The Swift telescope faces challenges in its rescue mission as its spacecraft spins uncontrollably. Even with its important role in observing the universe, communication issues are complicating efforts. Will the mission succeed or will Swift reenter Earth's atmosphere? #Astronomy #Space #Science #Telescope #GammaRayBursts

Joe_B_ME :

No one has ever had the capability of performing a rescue mission such as this EXCEPT for the space shuttle. Could Space X put together a rescue mission? Maybe...but would never risk a Starship.but perhaps, if an Optimus robot could be outfitted with an environmental suit AND a suitable thruster pack AND be launched out of the Starlink delivery system...a lot of its. Such an environmental suit should obviously be in the character of a Garfield suit and remain clinging to the exterior of the telescope. Since nothing is free, the owner(s) of the telescope would have to give Space X maritime salvage rights. But it is doubtful that mountains of beaurocratic red tape could be completed before the telescope started entering the atmospete anyway😎

Did Elon build the rescue craft?

milknutt1 :

it's funny how Elon musk is worth a trillion dollars and you guys all think he's stupid

Juan D Lopez :

It would burn, and no debris will land on earth.

Del :

Just hire SpaceX to do

That’s sucks! The savior bot needs saving… on another note. Did anyone see the snek cloud too?

MrBears_Creations :

Did Elon Musk build it.

iamgroot :

maybe its time for the earth to get hit by a gamma ray burst

doesn't Chandra do that too?

Jimmyt373 :

Why doesn’t Elon save it?

returnoftheforgottenone :

there's a lot of stuff that's going begin to start falling out of the sky real soon, mainly because of the sun and the damage that it's going cause to the stuff that's floating out in space
