I think what the discourse has devolved into, especially on this app, is what is a gender war. And it obfuscates the real oppression and gender inequality in our society that primarily target women and girls but also men, boys, and nonbinary individuals. Reactions to trauma are real and understandable, but that doesn’t mean they are always correct or even helpful. The discourse that has evolved around those reactions has lead to some pretty hyperbolic, misleading, and controversial arguments. The scale of the real world problems is not equal, but the online conversations that are exacerbated by algorithmic echo chambers has created an environment where the only result of it all is widespread radicalization and growing animosity.

Men not only have all the systemic advantages that you mention but they are (almost all) physically bigger and stronger - literally. Men’s anger terrifies me. Never married and haven’t lived with a man in decades. At the first sign of aggression from a man, I’m out.
