@novo.news: Nicola Salmon (47) was racially abused at a One Stop in Coventry, after having consoled a female member of staff whose sister had passed away. She was told to get back in her "boat", with several slurs being directed at her "black b*****d", ", and "black c**+". The man grabbed several items and stole them from the shop. Hate crimes in the UK are mostly racially motivated and have risen from last year, as rhetoric around immigration, migrants and crime has been submerged in racial overtones and undertones. Black people are 15x more likely to be subjected to racism than white people, and make up 4% of the population - but 23% of hate crimes. What do you think?
