If anyone doesn't know, Wildwood was a book first and part of a trilogy. So while it unlikely we'll get sequel movies since Laika doesn't do them you can read the books to see what else comes up. (The books are really good)

When I watched the movie I thought both of the children look like Alexandria. When the parents agreed to the deal, she touched the mother’s stomach, and she became pregnant. I almost think she passed her own DNA along with the father and their mom was just a surrogate. It’d be sad if it were true but I almost wouldn’t be surprised
