There’s a spray lead test that you spray and then shine a black light on and if it glows there’s lead in it. I wonder if that would be more gentle to test your other items

No expert just someone who fell down the green led paint rabbit hole a few years ago. In theory yall should be completely fine as long as no one doing anything weird.. but the big issue with led products was we used it in EVERYTHING so we were breathing it in, drinking it, consuming it etc. that’s what made it so toxic to people, they were exposed to lethal amounts of lead. A few items in one room won’t do anything of significance now if you got your hands on some limited edition wizard of oz paint maybe we will have another discussion lol.

Didn’t you just have the ideal doll repaired? They may have used modern paint on her and sealed the lead if there was any.

keep in mind those swabs only test the surface, so if there's lead internally (ie not in the paint but in the material itself) they usually can't detect it. Though the most usual lead culprit is the paint so, they work well for that.

Handling lead isn't going to give you lead poisoning unless it can somehow get into your system. I also just learned that there is treatment for this called chelation therapy
