We always had a king. They would come in little and it was fine, now they’re come in and we’re a little squished, told the hubby we’re gonna need a bigger one bc they’re gonna be stumbling in one day drunk and climb in with us and not fit. That or when they have kids were super screwed on space

Precious. They are only little for a while and the security they get from sleeping next to the person who loves them the most can't be replaced. Believe me, mom and dad can find a way for intimacy if they want to.

Most of these comments suck…. Having a family bed has bed the best thing for our family. 1st my babies sleep better WE sleep better 2nd my husband and I are back into a room together ( he’d sleep with the oldest in his room while I had the baby) 3rd you find other ways around the house to have intimacy!

We love our kids and they come in and cuddle and snuggle but they sleep in their own beds!! My husband and I enjoy that time alone to reconnect and recharge alone together!!

Empty nester here. I think I need that for me and my husband. He is a skinny fella but he takes up his half of our king and tries to take half of mine. We did so much better in separate beds because I wasn't kicking him in his sleep. However we just moved one of my daughter's friends in our house. Gave her our guest bedroom. Our daughter is away at college. So does this mean we aint empty nesters anymore? We aint charging her any rent. She has practically lived with us several times before.
