If you want to learn about Cornish Rex whiskers or other breed traits, you can use Google or look at the 3rd pinned video on my profile. However, if you leave any kind of comment asserting that they've been cut or clipped, you'll be blocked on sight. I'm just going to be honest, I'm really tired of all the harassment I get for something I have never done; something that is a breed trait that neither I nor Pixel can help. The whiskers that Pixel has in those first two pics are as long as he has ever been able to grow them. This is normal for Cornish Rex cats and causes no problems whatsoever. There are even some entirely hairless cat breeds that grow no whiskers at all and also do just fine. The past few years, Pixel's little whiskers, once black like the rest of his face when he was younger, have started turning white — which means they show up more. And that means that the harassment has snowballed since they are now so prominent. No one really bothered me about them before, and no one bothers me about Sophie's whiskers because they are white and usually blend in with her fur, so they don't think about it. Ironically, the easiest way to stop the harassment would be to do something to his whiskers, which I HAVE NOT DONE. 🫠 Every post I make on any platform, I have to deal with some uninformed person making wild accusations about me, and the simple fact is, it's not worth it for me to put up with at this point. So I'm not going to anymore. All I have ever wanted to do with my accounts and my content is give people a quick smile as we all go through our days. If you are here to be part of that, you're appreciated beyond measure. 🫶 #cats #cornishrex #catsoftiktok #pixelandsophie #whiskers
