@fallen_angel25_13: For 17 years, I've lived with seizures, and it's been a journey. Medications alone weren't quite enough, but about 7 years ago, I got a VNS (vagus nerve stimulator), and it's truly been a saving grace. Things were tough for a while, especially with my kids, but over time, things got better. Now, with regular neurologist visits and check-ups, my seizures are manageable. I don't drive; I do a lot of walking, take medical transportation, or taxis. Honestly, sometimes I feel safer not driving, especially with how some people drive! Plus, walking is great for clearing my mind. If you or someone you know struggles with seizures and wonders about other options, know that there are some out there. Seventeen years of facing something most people can’t even begin to understand, and yet you still manage to find the positive, keep your sense of humor, and offer to help others. That says an awful lot about the person you are. Strength isn’t always about overcoming something; sometimes it’s about refusing to let it define you. ❤️And as for not driving, considering some of the people I’ve encountered behind the wheel, I’m beginning to think you’re the smartest one on the road… and you’re not even on it! 😂
